Blurb: This study explores the question of how the tenants at Kottbusser Tor want to and can participate in decisions that are related to their living situation in Kottbusser Tor.
It is an intermediate result of the demands for the (re-) transfer of private holdings into public ownership and broad participation rights. In the first half of 2018, the neighborhood was asked, using a combination of different methods, what their situation was and whether they supported this path. The study shows that the interests, experiences and abilities are different and that the demand for a right of co-decision by tenants is shared by the majority.
